Where we began

N E Surfacing has been trading since May 2012. The company was put together by Darren Jones and David Parker, two friends that have worked closely together for many years in the same industry. They decided to form N E Surfacing, starting with just hiring themselves out – to employing direct staff. They have turned the company into a well established plant and labour hire firm and now have their own specialist equipment for all types of work including asphalt pavers, rollers, streetmasters and low loaders.

Understand your user experience

Since forming in 2012 we have worked for some great clients, undertaking major projects for Highways England, mainly covering areas in the South East. We have also covered other aspects of asphalt works including housing estates, country roads, airfields, MOD sites, footpaths, patching and small ground works. Our fully experienced workforce will help to keep the work to the highest of standards. They are first aid trained and are in possession of, or working towards NVQ12 in road surfacing and all have the new Highways England Gateway Passes. Please ask for our Portfolio to be sent prior to commencing work.

Health And Safety

We have a Health & Safety Policy in place which is updated annually and is kept in practice at all times on all of our projects. Regular training and refreshment courses keeps our workforce and the public safe at all times. We do our best to maintain the 5+2 plant and work force interface, which is demonstrated on our plant with safety zone lighting.

Labour & Plant Hire

Our plant and labour hire can be tailored to meet your requirements – from a one man for one day basis to a full surfacing team with all kit supplied. Please contact us for our competitive rates!

Our company is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

Our skilled labour can provide you with:

Roller drivers
Screwman
Rake hands
Banksman
Streetmaster drivers
Chipper operators and hand chipping, including the new extendachip machine.

We also have our own low loader transport so all moves are carried out in house to avoid any delays.

Domestic

Not all of our work is national construction. We also have teams that look after household driveways. Designs can be carried out in tarmac. Our work varies from carparks, footpaths, playgrounds and new housing estate roads. We can offer you advice and help you decide which would be the best option for you. All our private sector work is built on ‘word of mouth’ recommendations. All our work is fully insured from start to finish.
